This is a club sponsored FM voice repeater located in Newark, NY and is the secondary frequency for Wayne County RACES. It should have coverage over most of Wayne County and Northern Ontario County.  Work is almost completed, should be done by around 8/1/15.  The new antenna has been installed and a new controller and tone boards will be in place soon.  Please note the addition of PL tones on ALL DARC Repeaters.

WA2EMO
146.685 Mhz, minus 600 Hz offset,
71.9 PL tone {effective 9/1/2015)

This is a Wayne County RACES sponsored FM voice repeater located near the center of Wayne County in Arcadia, NY and is the primary frequency for Wayne County RACES. It is usually referred to locally as the “Sodus” repeater and is where you should tune first to coordinate any emergency response that may become necessary. It is also the starting point for all ARES/RACES drills and our Sunday RACES practice net most Sunday evenings at 8:35 pm local time. This system covers all of Wayne County and the near portions of all of the counties that border it. A good portion of the coverage within Wayne County can be used handheld.  This system is not currently cross-linked to the co-located 444.75 repeater, but this is something we are considering as a user function in the future. It should be noted that funding and support for this system is provided by the Wayne County Emergency Management Office.

Effective June 2015 our new Yaesu Fusion Digital Repeater is functional on this site.  For analog operators, program PL tone 110.9 into both “Receive” and “Transmit” sides to avoid digital “noise”.
